Oh, so you’re on this page? I wonder if that means you’re interested in getting your site hosted here =) Well, you guessed it right. I’m currently offering hosting for small sites and blogs. If you just want to blog and and don’t want to take care of all those hosting business like going to your cPanel to setup your account and so on, here’s your chance to have a Wordpress/Joomla blog hosted for free on a subdomain. If you’re a domain beginner and would like a taste of handling your domain using cPanel, you’re welcome to apply too at no charge. In short, I’m current offering two types of free hosting:

  1. Domain hosting with cPanel and Fantastico - NEW!
  2. Subdomain hosting

You may choose your you.domain.com based on any one of my domains:

Subdomain Hosting Features

  1. 2GB of web space (or more, but you don’t even need 2GB for a blog, actually..)
  2. unmetered bandwidth
  3. Wordpress/Joomla installation *optional
  4. 1 (or more, just ask) mySQL database
  5. FTP account for uploading files
  6. A friendly host & a new friend (me~)

Domain Hosting Features

  1. Use cPanel to manage your domain (DEMO)
  2. Use Fantastico installer under your cPanel to install site scripts (Wordpress, Joomla, phpBB, SMF, and lots more)
  3. 2GB of web space
  4. unmetered bandwidth
  5. Unlimited subdomain (you.yourdomain.com)
  6. Unlimited mySQL databases
  7. Upload files directly via File Manager or FTP
  8. A friendly host and hopefully a new friend, as in me :P

All that, and if you would be so kind as to donate a few bucks to the poor me, I’ll be glad to design a wordpress/joomla template for you.

The only thing you’re required to do is to put a link back to Caramel Toffee. That’s all. Anywhere on the page indicating that you site is hosted by Caramel Toffee or any type of linkback to the site is okay. As long as you do acknowledge me.

What do you need before applying for free hosting?

  1. Time - you’ll be required to keep your site/blog active. Update at least once a week.
  2. Consideration - please don’t upload big files for download purposes. You’ll ruin the bandwidth. Limit your file size to a maximum of 50mb per file.
  3. Preferrably an already running blog currently hosted at blogger, wordpress, livejournal, vox, etc. Preferrable, but not essential. If you do, though, you can always import your previous entries to your new site. That way, you’ll be able to keep your content nice and clean, and continuous too.
